We played our first session of Pathfinder 2e ever last weekend (on Sunday the 21st). As ever, well, nearly ever, I was the GM.
The main thing the players learned was that Remus is bad at getting information and/or influencing. At least from Linzy. He’s a lot better at punching. Middling at staff fighting. Teran summoned an unfortunate guard dog. Lore chatted up a dwarven cleric, but did no better than Remus at influencing. Teran drew a picture and got Linzy to like him. Micah tried hard to get a possible vampire to like him, but also failed. Just about every roll in the influence game was bad. So, the dinner was fun, but it would have been interesting if the rolls had been better.
The dinner ended and everyone went to bed. Teran wanted to sleep outside, but a guard convinced him to stay in. That was for the best. Hired assassins attacked them overnight, and everyone managed to fight them off (including the poor dog). We ended the session after that first fight.
