10 Pharast: After surviving a fight with web-spitting spiders in our last session, you rested for the night. Waking the next morning in the perpetual cold and mist, you approached the Sootscale Caverns (formerly known as the Oaktop Silver Mine). A kobold challenged you, but your kobold friends cleared the way. Plus, you showed them the idol of Old Sharptooth. They liked that.
The kobold guard, Athraz, guided you around some pit traps near the entrance and through the damp, high-ceilinged caverns. You met Chief Sootscale and gave him the idol. He dashed it to the stone floor! He explained that, somehow, the destruction would break the curse they were under. And that Tartuk, a purple-scaled kobold, was the one who cursed them.
Tartuk had shown up a month or so ago and took over the tribe. But then things started going wrong. The mitflits won battles and stole the idol. Chief Sootscale said they all needed to rise up and drive Tartuk out.
Suddenly Tartuk appeared. A fight ensued, Micah realized that Tartuk is actually Tartuccio (one of the adventurers from the feast back in the beginning of the campaign), and y’all pretty quickly defeated him.
You’re now level 3! And you got some treasure! Please make sure that you level up your character before our next session. Make sure that any skills, spells, etc. are common (meaning not Uncommon, Rare, or Unique).
