You continued your journey to Oleg’s in the misty cold across rolling hills and sad, damp grass. Your packhorses were lackadaisical at best. Gloin disappeared and Teran seemingly took his place.
On 27 Calistril you met Kentish, a hunter, strangely open with his possibly elicit activities. He said he didn’t poach the deer on his horse. You hadn’t asked. He said you might see him at Oleg’s (you didn’t).
A day or two later you came across a couple of boars snuffling around a dry creek bed. You attacked one and managed to kill it. Teran made the killing shot with this crossbow. The other boar took off. You took the dead boar with you as a gift for Oleg, whose outpost you arrived at on 2 Pharast.
Oleg and Svetlana were happy to see you (at least Svetlana was), but they were upset because bandits were “taxing” them once a month, and tomorrow, 3 Pharast, they would show up again and demand more of their goods. Oleg said they were expecting help from Restov, but they wouldn’t arrive for some days, or even weeks. He made it clear that he strongly desired that you all would ambush the bandits and kill them.
After some discussion you agreed to do just that, so long as there were no more than four bandits. As luck had it, there were exactly four. A fight ensued, but it was pretty one sided. Linzy flung small stones telekinetically, Teran did his lightning thing, Lore dazed someone, Pim shot his crossbow, and Remus used flurry of blows (nonlethally, for once).
You managed to capture the leader, Happs. That was the end of the session (on 3 Pharast).
